Q: Why did you decide to live in Japan?

A: I lived in Japan until I was 6 years old. I went to an international school so I did not get to learn Japanese. Because I lived here when I was young, I have always felt homesick when the subject of Japan came up. I decided to something about it, so I looked for a school and I applied for it.

Q: Why did you choose Shibuya Gaigo Gakuin?

A: Because I am a very slow learner and I heard that Shibuya Gaigo Gakuin had a relatively slower pace than other schools. They also have English speaking staff which I knew would help me a lot as I knew very little Japanese before I arrived here.

Q: In your opinion, what is the best thing about studying in Japan at Shibuya Gaigo Gakuin?

A: Because I am in Japan, I get speaking practice 24/7 and I get to use what I learn in school all the time, that makes learning Japanese a lot more fun. Also, the school is very central and that for me is a positive thing.

Q: What are your plans after graduating from Shibuya Gaigo Gakuin?

A: In Sweden, I work in the movie business, so I will probably return to Japan to work every now and then. I will also continue studying Japanese in Sweden for fun.

Q: What would you tell to others who wish to study at Shibuya Gaigo Gakuin?

A: The teachers are very funny and really good at what they do. The people are really friendly and I have made so many friends!
