Q: Why did you decide to live in Japan?

A: I have been studying Japanese by myself since my senior year of high school in the US, But I felt that no matter how hard I studied if I didn't use what I learned I would forget. I knew that the best way for me to become fluent in Japanese would be for me to move to Japan and immerse myself in the language.

Q: Why did you choose Shibuya Gaigo Gakuin?

A: Because Shibuya is amazing! The school is in a great location, very close to Shibuya station and many great clothing stores. When I first applied as well, I had so many questions about the visa process and requirements, so I decided to contact the school through both email and by phone and every time the staff was so kind and helpful.

Q: In your opinion, what is the best thing about studying in Japan at Shibuya Gaigo Gakuin?

A: I love that our teachers teach us grammar and vocabulary that we can actually use in our everyday lives here in Japan. The teachers really do care about us and they always find a way to make us enjoy our lessons and have us practice as much as possible.

Q: What are your plans after graduating from Shibuya Gaigo Gakuin?

A: I would like to find a full-time job here in Japan and make this country my permanent home.

Q: What would you tell to others who wish to study at Shibuya Gaigo Gakuin?

A: Come! haha. Everyone in this school is very kind and you won't feel alone when are you are in this school. Aside from very patient staff, the school also organizes many fun Cultural Events where you can not only learn about the language but the amazing culture as well.
