Notice of Upcoming Price Change

We, here at Shibuya Gaigo Gakuin, strive to offer the highest quality Japanese language education services at competitive prices.
 
Although we have done our best to keep the cost of tuition low, due to Japan’s trying economic circumstances and the weakness of the yen, the cost of our tuition will be increasing as of October 2024.

We understand this may cause some inconvenience, and we assure you that we have thoroughly considered the decision before implementing it. In fact, this is the first time our prices have increased in over ten years, even abstaining when Japan’s sales tax grew from 8% to 10% in 2019. This is not a decision we have made lightly. 
 
Price changes are as follows: 
 
STUDENT VISA COURSE
One-year course will increase from ￥680,000 to ￥720,000.
Two-year course will increase from ￥1,360,000 to ￥1,440,000.
 
SHORT-TERM COURSE
Ten-week course will increase from ￥162,000 to ￥172,000.
Four-week course will increase from ￥66,960 to ￥76,960.
One-week course will increase from ￥16,740 to ￥19,240.
Partial enrollment “per-day-rate” will increase from ￥3,348 to ￥3,848.

Note that students who already applied for the October 2024 session prior to this notice will still pay the tuition advertised at that time and will be unaffected by this price increase.
